From the Rutgers site...will visit South Carolina this weekend and is planning a visit to Rutgers in December. No visit to Wisconsin scheduled yet and says he will take a wait and see approach to Michigan.

Thought his visit to South Carolina went pretty well, especially enjoyed the staff's honesty, and the experience gives him more to contemplate. Still going to take his remaining two visits and decide at the AA game.

I know they talk once in a while at least, and Casillas has given him some advice, like go to Wisconsin.

Their relationship couldn't hurt, but even more influential would probably be Casillas' success at Wisconsin. Shows what a kid from New Brunswick could accomplish at Madison.

The Badgers still have a chance with Brandon, and we've been one of the few constants in his recruitment, but I'm not too optimistic. No positive news on this front in a while. We've seemed to renew our interest in other DB's (1 of Smith's likely 2 positions). Growing up a Michigan fan, I think he goes there if he likes their new coach.

From the South Carolina site...Coach Spurrier was at his school today and talks about his interest in SC and the staff. Talks about his contact with UM as well.

From the Michigan site. Smith will make his choice at the Army AA game this weekend. It is down to Michigan, Rutgers, and South Carolina, with Smith's mother saying that South Carolina has been showing a lot of love
