Yeah, I don't even know why we'd waste time recruiting a kid who claimed he didn't like Wisconsin. He must really be an elite player who we feel obligated to offer regardless of his expressed interest in the program. Just to say we offered one of the top players in the country.

Although Frankie Telfort denies a favorite, he says he plans to visit Alabama, USC (no offer), Georgia Tech, LSU and Oregon (no offer) during the spring and summer. He attended Florida's Junior Day and has been to Miami several times since they are only about 10 minutes away. Telfort insists distance won't be a factor. "I've always loved Miami," Telfort exclaimed. "The 2001 team was the best..."

Frankie Telfort (Miami/Gulliver Prep) lived up to all the hype surrounding this 6-foot, 200-pound keg of dynamite. He has good speed and agility for his position. Telfort stood out in the linebacker group especially in pass-drop drills.
