Schwartz gives great effort and runs very hard between the tackles. For a prospect that is almost 250 pounds he has surprising quickness and great feet. Schwartz has deceptive speed and runs with exceptional power. He is not your typical lumbering fullback. Schwartz has good foot quickness. He runs with great pad level and is just so tough to bring down. Schwartz also excels in the blocking and is a receiving threat out of the backfield.

3/14/07: Jeremiah Schwartz was named first team All-Combine in Jacksonville, (Fla.) at the Scout.com All-American Combine.
Edgewater fullback Jeremiah Schwartz said the two schools he has the most interest in are Wisconsin and Louisville.
He has an offer from Wisconsin and likes the program's tradition and offensive line. Schwartz is hoping his performance this season can earn him an offer from Louisville. He said Louisville's interest petered when former coach Bobby Petrino left the program last spring.
"My friend’s mom lives there so I can go to her house and get some food," Schwartz said.
At the advice of Edgewater Coach Bill Gierke, Schwartz lost 20 pounds in the offseason so he could be recruited as a running back. The 5-feet-11, 225-pound senior said his role on the team this year will be more a running back's than a fullback's.
The Eagles are ranked No. 4 in the Florida Sports Writers Association preseason poll.
From the UF site...Jeremiah's mother gives a recap of last week's preseason game and this weeks opener against Dr. Phillips. Also, has scheduled an official to Iowa State.
Schwartz has amassed 255 yards on 37 carries to go with 2 scores (2 games). Edgewater has played some strong teams in those games, and he is on a time share with Dejuon Jacobs. All in all not too shabby

"(The University of Minnesota) didn't really compare," UW Kicker Taylor Mehlhaff said. "I loved the atmosphere here. It was pretty easy to cross (Minnesota) off the list. I wanted to play at the highest level possible but I also wanted to have that college atmosphere."
