Offers- Kansas State

7/14: Free Scout - Only visited K-State and feels Mizzou is about to offer....3-sport star

7/20: Rivals $ - K-State leads but that's his only major offer to date

Got to love the measureables for a corner at 6 feet and a 40 in the 4.3's. It would be Bret's M.O. to target a player like this.

Haing never seen video, and being a fan uncapable of really "scouting" him, I'm cautious knowing that he has good size and runs a sub-4.4, yet has his best offer from Kansas State.

Mike, the exact same description could be made about Ike. Same height. Same speed. Same position. And he didn't even have a K-State offer. His best offers besides Wisconsin were from MAC schools. And he's turned out OK

It doesn't help that he's from Kansas, which like Wisconsin of course, isn't exactly considered a recruiting hotbed. Potential diamond in the rough without seeing his video.

I don't recall Ike being timed that fast in high school, but regardless, that's exactly why I said having never seen video and being incapable of really scouting him. The coaching staff knows way more and I trust them. If they make an offer it will be for good reason I presume. This is a guy with great measurable and not too great of offers. He could be under the radar, a diamond in the rough, or it could be that he's just lacking elsewhere. Hard to say on the outside looking in.

If he's the next Jack Ike I sure hope we offer him

Mike, any opinion now that his video is finally being offered by Rivals. I realize only one play actually shows him on defense. Seems shorter than I thought.
