McCay already has scholarship offers from schools like national champion Florida, Oregon, North Carolina, Missouri, Wisconsin, Nebraska and in-state schools Kansas and Kansas State. In fact, he humbly stated that he's not real sure how many other offers he has, that he tries not to keep count.
"They came in so fast, I was overwhelmed," McCay told SN Today. "The first one I ever got was Wisconsin after my sophomore season was over. I didn't see it until the following year because of the rules, but when I did see it, it was on that top-of-the-line paper, you know?"
McCay said no team stands out at this point, that he'll evaluate each and every one over the next year, but there's no doubt he hasn't received his final scholarship offer. He said he'll probably announce at a press conference sometime later in his senior year, probably with severan hats in front of him. He doesn't think he'll commit early.

From the UF site. McCay plans to have a top 5 by next week, and Florida is expected to be on that list. McCay likes the way the Gators run their offense and thinks that their system will get him to the NFL. He plans to double major in business and communications.

Florida getting a receiver into the NFL is common, but him performing in the NFL is another lol.

According to a Scout Audio Interview (as it was relayed to me), McCay is for sure traveling to Oklahoma, Florida, and Notre Dame for officials. The other likely visits will be Missouri and Kansas State.
To my knowledge he hasn't taken an unofficial UW, so we're on the outside looking in it appears. So onto slow plays for 2 wide receivers or so. *sigh*

He was a pipe dream from the begining, so I am not all that upset.
I see them only taking one more receiver or none more depending on the future of Duckworth

That would be unacceptable to not take at least one more wide receiver this cycle. In 2011 the depth chart would project as: Appleton, Toon, Mason, Williams, Duckworth, and a bunch of true freshman. And the top 3 all have legitimate questions whether they'll still be part of the corps. Appleton because of his off the field issues, Toon his talent relative to his status as a 5th year senior making him a flight risk, Mason's size/speed combination maybe projecting him to H-Back, etc. No, that corps tenuous not to further address. Was Fenton converted into a wide receiver. Regardless, they should at least add a Jeff Lewis, with the intention of developing him there.

His off the field problems were completely overblown by the Illinois fans inability to believe that the Zooker couldnt keep a top 3 instate prospect from going to Wisconsin.

Future of Duckworth? Did I miss something there like an injury or position switch?
