7/21 From the Oklahoma site. Trice got an offer from Oklahoma and committed. The fact that Oklahoma is always a top team and that they are in need of CB's played a big role in his choice. The fact that Oklahoma is close to home also played a huge role for Trice.

Ouch... as usual, so much for a package deal. Not entirely surprised by this, but I have to say I was really hoping we could land him.

Yeah, package deals empirically prove to come to fruition infrequently. I mean we're talking about adopted brothers here practically who didn't have the incessant need to go to the same school.
It's not sour grapes to say I vastly preferred Hurst. He's more of the prototype corner with height near 6 feet, 4.4 speed, fluid hips, above average burst, and plus vertical leap. I'll gladly root for Trice to overcome his shrimpish height and average speed from afar.
