By Phil Kornblut
From some twenty offers, LB Malcolm Munroe (6-3 215) of Miami has trimmed his list to a final group of USC, Florida, Central Florida, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Louisville and Wisconsin. He visited Florida earlier this summer and said he will set official visits for the fall with USC, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Louisville and Wisconsin. Munroe said he hears regularly from Gamecock recruiter Robert Gillespie. He won't have a decision until after the season and he does not have a favorite. Last season Munroe had 55 tackles with 6 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, 5 forced fumbles and 2 blocked kicks.

From the GT site. Munroe says that he can't wait to get to Georgia Tech, and that after the coaches were in tonight (who he raves about), he is 100% solid with Georgia Tech. He has called North Carolina and told them that he is no longer interested.
