8/6 By Chris Pool...story about how Givens went from not even knowing if he would ever play again (ACL) to earning an offer from Wisconsin. Has offers from Wisconsin, Wake Forest, Utah, UNLV and North Texas and is also hearing from Auburn and Arkansas.

I think this guy is more worthy than several other rb's we have offered or already have a verbal from (Smith). We seem to have good depth at rb for a few years, which would allow Givens a full recovery. Nobody questions his talent when healthy, and I think he has the ability to be our starter after Clay in three or four years.
