Blue, who is playing with the Illinois Warriors, has exploded the past few months. He and fellow Warrior, Anthony Johnson, are said to be one of the best one-two guard combos in the nation. Blue is looking forward to teaming with Jerrone Maymon next year at Madison Memorial and winning a state championship. There are also rumors of 2011 PG Larry Bradley transferring to Memorial.

Vander Blue checks in at #39 overall & #7 PG in the rivals top 150.
His AAU runningmate, Anthony Johnson, checks in at #49 overall and #13 SG. Would be nice to have room and try to persuade Johnson to become a Badger with Blue given the mentioned chemistry between the 2 on the court.

I agree about Johnson, but I believe the staff would rather take one of the instaters Flavien or Kelm if we do have another scholarship, We should clean up Wisconsin with Marquette going through a bit of a rough stretch right now.

Oh yeah, I agree on the in-state aspect as well. There are some ballers in Wisconsin in the 2010 class. I also think that a forward would be most fitting to round out the class if there were another spot. But still one to watch as recruiting is such a strange equation sometimes.

He's already in Madison
To be serious, I'm looking forward to the '10 class as well, but I was very anxious for the '08 class as well, so I can't wait to see them perform.
Well, let's be truthful - it's almost always fun to see the new guys.

Add in Flavien hopefully and we may have the best class in terms of hype maybe ever, and There all instate kids, Im personally in the back of my mind hoping JP is irrelevant dont get me wrong if he does well great but if his scholarship gets pulled we have room for one more player (Flavien, Flavien, woo, woo, woo)
PG.Vander Blue
SG.Diamond Taylor
SF.Flavien Davis
PF.Mike Brueswitz
C.Evan Anderson
Bench:
Larry Bradley
Darnell Harris/Nana Egwu
Will Sulivian/Spencer Turner
something like that lol I dont feel like going into extensive research lol.

The day Bo Ryan pulls a scholarship like that, I'll be picking my jaw up off the floor.

not pull a scholarship but JP takes one for the team and stays on as a walk-on.

WISCONSIN STATE JOURNAL
article about vander blue and the game vs west. sounds like he has a nice stroke from 3.
this coach for west just won't shut his mouth. apparentley he was talking poop to blue during the game and then didn't stop after the game to the paper. I remember this coach about 3 years ago went to the papers and guranteed a victory over memorial, then got stomped.

"Our plan was to minimize Jeronne's touches tonight and we did that," Hodge said. "Vander is a poor 3-point shooter. ... We would rather not have Vander in transition getting shots at the rim."
Are you kidding me!?!?! What a joke of a coach! These are high school kids trying their best. I personally am very proud of Vander as it seems he handled the situation well. Aaaaaannnnd I am sure the personal satisfaction of shoving it in that coach's face to the tune of six 3s was unbeatable.
Way to stick your foot in your mouth Mr. Hodge.
Congrats, Vander....keep up the good work! Can't wait to see you in a Badger uniform in a few years.

If Blue is becoming this good shooting from the perimeter he will end up being more highly regaurded than fellow commitment E Anderson by the time he gets here. Its just one game though and even I have hit 6 threes before, granted it was over the coarse of 3 years.
