That would be an extremely passive aggressive act....and I don't roll like that. If anything, I would have contacted you by P.M. if there was an issue. And even then, it would have been just to inform you of a standard here that you may not have been aware of. I'm a pretty liberal mod. As long as you aren't getting personal with a fellow poster, recruit, or don't say something incredibly insensitive; I'll probably let it slide.

Rowley is now officially off the board, having just committed to Northwestern.

Big X-Factor recruit for the power of the conference. Anybody Northwestern can acquire that isn't a stiff is a bonus.

Congrats to Kyle. This could help stop the beating Northwestern takes down low.

Upon further review, wow, he must be smart.

Big commit for NU. I wish Rowley the best.

Rivals has him as the #1 player in IL for 2009

"(The University of Minnesota) didn't really compare," UW Kicker Taylor Mehlhaff said. "I loved the atmosphere here. It was pretty easy to cross (Minnesota) off the list. I wanted to play at the highest level possible but I also wanted to have that college atmosphere."

I imagine this isn't seen very often. A highly sought after recruit decides to go to a conference bottom-feeder, and then re-classifies himself so he can start college a year early. Yeah, illinoishsbasketball.com is saying that Rowley will be a freshman at Northwestern this coming season. And he'll possibly redshirt, but that's okay because "he'll make more progress on his game in college than high school," which is why he's graduating a year early. I'm not really sure what to make of it.

You may need to register to read that, so here's a link to the front page just in case.

Does anyone know if that's the site run by the high school kid? I remember reading about him. I think that is his site, the name sounds familiar, not to mention the picture of the author looks pretty young.

I think it's more likely that Rowley's decision to attend Northwestern came after the strong desire to reclassify to 2008. All the pieces just came together. If he wants to be a journalism major, as reported, there's no better spot to go that NU.

Nice class for the Cats, I think Shurna is a pretty nice player.

Yeah, Poneman is 16 or 17 (check out the Videos section on that site, and there is a Comcast feature on him). Really impressive.
