exactly, versatility.. something we really don't have a whole lot of (that and depth) this year.. Jbo is completely one dimensional, JT is pretty much just a pure point (nothing wrong with that), Pop is really our only versatile guard.

yeah he plays the off guard now but they list him as like 6'3" - 6'4"? He is not that tall. I'd say he would be around 6'1"....maybe. Not that it matters to us I guess since bo play hughes and taylor together anyway.

I agree versatility will be fantastic, from what I saw, both Vander and DT play both guard positions in high-school so that'll be fantastic when they come to UW.
Also, Troy I see you had the Bruiser also listed at the Sf position, I suppose I have not watched a whole lot of him but he is 6'7" and listed purely as a PF, so I'm just curious on your reasoning there.
As for Ian, we'll see, i'm more on your end right now with him not being on the team, but I'm not going to quite write him off yet.
And, finally, good point on 2011 as well, the 2010 season and 2011 seasons seem very, very promising for Wisconsin, which puts a smile on my face, as I will likely be attending there starting fall 2010.
What's everyones thoughts on next season?
PG - Hughes, Taylor
SG - Bohannon, Wilson, DT
SF - Jarmusz, Evans?
PF - Leuer, Nankivil, Brusewitz
C - Bergrenn? , Nankivil, Leuer

I see almost this entire team as versatile, Bruiser has been listed as both a SF and a PF. I think his position on this team will be PF, however he is a solid overall player so he can slide to the three(Think Marcus) I hope Bergrenn wins the starting job, we really need the size(JP and Ian are non factors IMO.)

We would be best with jbo off the bench, and hughes sliding over to play the two, IMO, but I highly doubt it will ever happen

Has anyone watched him during the tournament? Last I checked they are still in it and took down the #1 seed, but haven't seen much of what big Evan has done. But, most impressive team in the tourney so far? My G-Town squad baby, we are going to have to take down Vander, Jeronne and Madison Memorial at State.

Anderson had 8/9 in the Huskies sectional victory. 1 more needed to get to state. EA fouled out in the game

With 3 minutes, 40 seconds to play, Evan Anderson turned the Eagles Nest into bedlam with a slam dunk that gave Eau Claire North a 17-point lead.

Evan Anderson is incapable of anything on the offensive end, This should be nice in 3 years Bo needs to realize that 5- 6'7" players with athletic ability are far better than a bench full of 6'11" guys that can do nothing but rebound and get in foul trouble......Good choice to let J Wilson and J Maymon go in favor of the other guys he is bringing in...I think I might start rooting for Marqutte next year!

Jamil Wilson is going to be the best player Wisconsin has ever produced. I have been watching basketball for 20 years and that guy is not only going to be in the NBA he is going to be an elite NBA player I wouldn't say Tucker More like a healthy and Younger Tracy Mcgrady. All that from one game yeah it wasn't just the stat line which is ridiculous, but his defense, leaping ability, as well as a wicked cross over and serious handles. Shoot it does not matter were he goes to college he will have an immediate impact any where......

First off, my two year old has a better chance right now that Maymon to have ever gotten into Madison. You cant finish your JR with credits equivialant to a second semester Frosh and tell me you are getting into college.
Jamil Wilson wanted to wait this long, and at the time made it clear to the coaches that he wast really interested in UW and would have gone to MU if Crean was still there. By the way your a moron if you think Wilson will be the best player ever to come out of Wisconsin, I think Caron Butler and Nick Van Exel may disagree with you.
Now to the topic on hand, Anderson is completely mis used in the offense. He is basically the high post screen setter. I want to see how he plays in a normal offense that actually uses its big man on offense.

Well actually he wont even be the best player out of Racine(Caron Butler ring a bell?) Devin Harris and Van Exel are both vying for that title as well. Also as stated the criticism of Anderson is laughable.

For those interested Anderson finished with 6 and 5, with two blocks in limited minutes (foul trouble). I did not see the game (I was in South Beach ) so I cannot say one way or the other
