No leaders, will decide between ASU, UW, New Mexico, and George Washington. Enjoyed his visit to ASU.

UW men's basketball: Dukan commits to Badgers
Best part of story is that he shot 46% from behind the ark as a junior.

I'm a fan of this commitment for the reasons mentioned, and in addition because he plays with a very good rhythm, and probably has a high basketball I.Q. due to growing up with basketball in his family.
His defense may not be great, but I think a pairing of Bruesewitz or Evans and him at the 3/4 projects well because it would afford him the ability to play outside on offense, while guarding the post once he weighs around 215 (as long as he's mentally tough). Bruesewitz and Evans it sounds like can guard 3's laterally on the perimeter but offensively don't have perimeter skills.
Dukan reminds me of former Bruin Jason Kapono. Similar size and form with almost a robotic demeanor about shooting 3's. Hopefully he's at least marginally better on defense. It's a weakness for both.
My only reticence about giving my full endorsement is Dukan's obviously not going to be bringing the ball up the court. As of right now we still only have two ball-handlers going into the '10 season, and one is a true frosh slow play. Glover returning to the team as a redshirt frosh walk-on wouldn't bolster that responsibility much. I'm hoping they're giving Gavinski an opportunity to play out this season with the projection that he probably won't contribute therefore they don't pick-up his scholarship for a fifth year and instead replace him with another point during the late signing period.

Looks like the 2010-11 Badgers will field their whitest team since 1952-53? Has even Northwestern ever been this white? This does not seem like a winning formula for competing for B-Ten championships in the near future, much less Final Fours.
I'm not bashing Duje here, just commenting on the overall direction of the roster. I know, I know. Taylor and Glover screwed up all on their own. Not Bo's fault. But still....

Hedo Turkolough(sp?) from Orlando is a great comparison.

Turkoglu*
haha.. Just think "Turkey Glue" when you say his name and you'll get close. That's what I called him during the NBA playoffs last year.

Isn't that getting a little ahead of yourselves? But I do Like Turkey Glue that could do some serious damage if he were around for 4 years

Not in skill level obviously, but he does have a similar type of game. Great shooter, good dribbler, passer, and just a smart overall player.

I'll give it a chance, OK? I really will.
All I know is last year I saw a team that struggled athletically. Had a hard time beating a press, really struggled creating their own shots, etc.
I'm just a self-loathing white guy.
