I know neither about the pronouncement of his name nor the skit to which you're referring. I stopped watching SNL regularly several years ago. But I can relate in regards to the DE prospect from Ohio, Melvin Fellows. Every time I heard his name I thought, "Hi, I'm Melvin Fellows!" in Tracy Morgan's character's effeminate twang.

In the skit he plays a kid and when asked his name spells it Quevhenn(or something with alot of letters) and when asked the pronunciation he says "kevin"

Quevyn scored 22 points in Tuesday (1/6) night's game against Milwaukee Bay View.

Honestly, I would say that Quevyn is our top 2011 prospect from Wisconsin. I am gonna go ahead and say that he is my favorite from the group thus far. I also like Darnell Harris. These would be the 2 kids from Wisconsin that I would want on the UW roster at this point.

Quevyn plays for a very good and competitive D1 Milwaukee Washington team (7-0) who faces some of the best teams in the state. He has the most points total this year (126 through 7 games) for his team, averages the 2nd most ppg at 18 and plays with a senior and junior dominated group as a sophomore. He is really getting some good experience for a kid his age. Linked below are his stats:

Also, Tony Mayfield of Milwaukee Washington is also gonna be a good one to keep tabs on. He may be a very promising PG option in 2012.

Just a side note, but this kid eat, sleeps, and breathes basketball. He will continue to improve.

Winters scored a game high 26 points and hauled down 6 rebounds in the heavyweight battle between Washington and Hamilton Friday night.

There are a decent amount of highlights from Washington's win over Hamilton in the February 8th episode of JS Online's preps plus. The pertinent segment runs from about 11:10 to 13:20 and can be accessed along the right panel of the JSOnline Preps page. Darnell Harris and Elgin Cook also appear in the video. They have a mini interview w/ Winters after the culmination of the video.

Winters seems to be fairly defined - which is a luxury at this point in his development. The video didn't really showcase much of his game, so I am guessing he got most of his points banging in the paint. Harris showed a little handle in the video, which is nice.

I honestly can say I have no problem finishing the '11 class instate with Larry Bradley, Quevyn, and Harris.
