He is still only going to be a junior so there is a lot of time left to develop. He seems to be dedicated to getting better, and has the athleticism and frame to actually achieve it. Obviously there are risks to offering sophs, hopefully this turns out to be a good one

I don't think anyone is going to know too much about Hodges til after this next season. He wasn't asked to score much this past year, but the top 3 scorers for his Romeoville team just graduated, so he will now likley be a go to guy. Let's hope he progresses nicely in his new role and wait on making judgements until then.

So far, Bo has been notorious for identifying potential and talent very early.

Top 11 highlight Class of 2011 - City/Suburban Hoops Report

29. Devon Hodges, 6-7, PF, Romeoville .... The big man committed to Wisconsin but is more suited for a MAC or Horizon League. Has some size, length and a decent touch facing up to the basket. Looks to have the frame to add weight and strength, but he's still far too mechanical.
From Joe Henricksen, IMO the most clueless of the Chicago guys.

I think that's the same report he used about 6 months ago. This season will tell a lot about Devon's progress
