Yes, I do think it's purely coincidental. As you said yourself, Tokoto is on pace to be one of the best Wisconsin prospects ever. He has one of the top 2 offer lists in the nation for his class, so maybe even be the best ever period. Thus an elite school like Duke, and everyone else for that matter, would be more apt to recruit Tokoto.
Speaking of being the most highly recruited player in Wisconsin ever possibly, I can't believe anyone had Lomomba ranked ahead of J.P. during their freshman seasons. Mark Miller being included among that group. His reads on some prospects have been WAY off the last couple years that I've noticed. His website is a valuable resource and I still appreciate his contributions, but you wouldn't think a guy that informed would miss so badly on guys like Tokoto and Elgin Cook. He used to have Cook ranked extremely low amongst his classmates.....I want to say in the 20's....and at that time it was not like many prospects had emerged. It's not like either prospect had an unexpected growth spurt which would absolve him.
