This game makes me think it is better for this team to play behind all game than to have a lead. Awesome game

Basically, the whole team next year needs to be more consistent (Trevon, J-Bo, Keaton, Leur). Berggren, Evans, Wilson need to give good mins next year.
Rotation of
Trevon,Taylor,Keaton, Leur, Jarmusz, Berggren, J-Bo, Evans, Wilson, Brusier/Diamond Taylor will play a little. Decent team. I think If Berggren can be the big man in the middle and give us some good play, that will make a huge difference.

^ Agreed, I think we will have a decent year next season, better than this season hopefully. Next year won't be that year we return to prominence in the big ten, but 2010 and 2011 will. We are going to have some wack teams, final four potential if it all plays out.

Keaton and Taylor seemed to make big strides in the tourney. Keaton just needs more repetition with his feet in the paint, and he will be good. Taylor just needs to be a little more aggressive, and he will be a stud. The team will improve next year if JBo moves to the bench and Hughes slides over to man the two, leaving Carlton to start at point, IMO

article about next years bunch
if our big guys pan out we gotta be one of the best teams in the big 10 for the future. Who could match up with this?
Keaton 6'8" - not great size but a 3 pt threat pulls people out of the lane and we were much better when he was a threat from out there.
Leur 6'10" - shoots the 3 ok, decent inside game. All that should improve with time. Needs to get quicker off the dribble and stronger defensivley.
If markholf and berrgen can work their way into the roation we are pretty damn big. otherwise our inside game is below average in the big 10 i'd say.

IMO Guard play will be our bread and butter for a while. I like Hodges and possibly Egwu(still not sold on EA) But our guards coming in in the next few years have me extremely excited.

see i think thats a problem if we become guard oriented especially next year. Let's face it j bo isn't that hard to guard since he doesnt shoot off screens that well or if someone is within 5 feet of him. And hughes being the only guy who can create his own shot teams will key on him even harder than this year. I was just saying if our post play becomes average we will be damn good because we have some good guards.
just wondering if anyone thinks wilson has a chance to start next year? i'd assume jarmusz would because he has more experience and height. But with our lack of guys who can create shots for themselves i think wilson wouldn't be a bad option because he can defend too. Althought jarmusz has more height, but let's face it he only has the wide open 3 pt shot in his arsenal right now.

Sounds like a certain shooting guard we have....
Dr. J progressed a ton this year and mans up solidly on D, so I have no problem giving him the starting nod. We should have enough offense on the floor, as Keaton and JL will really begin to assert themselves next year, IMO. Taylor and Rob should see good minutes next year, and there is reason to believe Berggren should contribute some next year as well. The X factor will be Bruiser and DT. Bruisers position has more need, with the void left behind from Landry and Krabby. DT will be kind of buried on the depth chart next year, IMO, but should explode once Hughes and JBo leave.

Starting is overrated Keaton "Started" but he ended up playing 8 minutes a game. I think the end of the game lineup will end up being Taylor/Hughes/JBO(ROB)/JL/Keaton.
I think that Berggren will make a huge step forward. After him im worried, maybe Ryan Evans could slid to the 4 for a while, but I see four D1 players(1 a frosh) and 2 players who are lucky to have a scholarship at UW at this point in the front court.

I agree JBO really impressed me with his improved overall offensive game. Defensively he will still get ate up by top tier teams but as long as he continues to improve I have no beef with him starting.

By Dr. J I was going with Timmy, but I see your point with JBo. I still think he is better suited to come in off the bench as a scorer, but I doubt Bo will choose that route. Hopefully Rob forces Bo's hand a little. Starter does mean little, but Keaton really showed flashes this year (Purdue and FSU come to mind). He just needs some repetition in the paint. I think he could become somewhat of a Wilkenson yet **fingers crossed**
