I like that Leuer is trying, but wow, make a basket. More Carlton Banks, less JBo

Look at "Bubble teams" tonight and their struggles:

Va Tech Lost to UNC
BC Loses to NC State
Miami loses to Ga Tech
KU down 8 to GA with 8 to play
FL down 15 to MSU with 5 to play

I mean wow - nobody wants to get in. Pathetic really

To me, the 06 class is killing us. Hughes is just not a natural point and does not involve teammates enough down the stretch, JBo just doesn't seem to have the will or something and is horrible defensively, and JP is well..... JP.

I really hope next year our starting line up is Taylor, Hughes, TJ, JL, and Keaton, with JBo, Rob, Bruiser, Ian and Berggren contributing off the bench. JBo just does not have it as a starter, and Hughes just seems better suited to play the 2

Yea you can see that in warm ups when markholf airballs mid range jumpers. Plus he is a lot less athletic than I thought he was.

He's only a true frosh, not a RS soph, so I wouldn't lose hope completely. But yeah, I'm not completely excited about his development either. I think he still could be a Maymick style player off the bench though, he just needs to change some of that baby fat into muscle

for all the years Wisconsin has gotten screwed come tournament time this has to be the easiest run that they have ever had and could very easily make it to elite 8. That said with this team they could also have a 10m point lead with 3 minutes left and loss by 12

I agree, we absolutely get screwed all the time. Finally a good draw. Although I don't understand how Michigan got a 10. We finished better than they did and beat em twice. They won some nice games early in the season but it was clear later that they aren't that good. I'd rather be in our position though

can you say Dave Mader.....senior year he will be a starter play for first 1:30 of the first and second halves than ride the pine the rest of the way.

Wisconsin didn't beat anybody. Virgina Tech is their best out of conference win, and they didn't even make the tourny. Didn't beat Purdue, Mich St, Minnesota. We were lucky to get in, and we should be happy with our weak bracket.

Both wins at home. I would say UCLA and Duke to be somebodies.... for Michigan.
