You'd be wrong.
Scholarship players returning in 2010:
PG: Jordan Taylor
SG: Robert Wilson, Diamond Taylor
SF: Tim Jarmusz (senior), Ryan Evans, Mike Bruesewitz (combo forward)
PF: Jon Leuer (senior), Keaton Nankivil (senior)
C: Jared Berggren, Ian Markolf, Gavinski (senior, but does he really count?)

Bo needed to bring in a guard that could handle the ball (Blue) and a big man that would help take over for the departing Leuer and Nankivil by his sophomore year. That way the returning players in 2011 look like this:
PG: Jordan Taylor (senior), Vander Blue (combo guard)
SG: Robert Wilson (senior), Diamond Taylor
SF: Ryan Evans (poss senior), Mike Bruesewitz (combo forward)
PF: Jared Berggren (senior)
C: Ian Markolf (poss senior), Evan Anderson

That's a lot better than this:
PG: JTaylor, Blue
SG: Wilson, DTaylor
SF: Evans, Bruesewitz, Barnes/Davis
PF: Berggren
C: Markolf

edit: stupid ninjas

I think our results on the court in 2011 would say we weren't better off taking a wing instead of bolstering the frontcourt a year earlier.

Like Komacki illustrated, our frontcourt would comprise of 2, or at most 3 veterans. Big men don't have the same motors as little guys. You have to limit their minutes for optimum effectiveness. So if we didn't land some Greg Oden/Michael Beasley level advanced frontcourt player with one of our schollies in the 2011 class, we'd really be hurting.

A few highlights of Larry Bradley courtesy of Hoops Report.

I'm not sure Bo would appreciate his level of flashiness as much as fans. But he took on the challenge of teaching Hughes some discipline. From what little video is available, he doesn't appear to lack talent.

The 6-3 freshman phenom is reportedly receiving interest from Illinois and Tennessee.

A 360 spin move on the perimeter is good for the soul every once in a while.

I'm not going to worry about him being too flashy until I see some actual game film. A quick highlight video from a freshman AAU game is more indicative of that a player CAN do than what he DOES. If he's And1'ing it around the court the whole game then I can see why Bo would hesitate before pursuing him. But if he plays more calmly during actual games then I don't forsee any hold-ups for Bo.

Some nice things to say about Larry Bradley on the Howard Pulley blog.

We faced the best 15 year-old player I have seen this summer in Larry Bradley who led the Milwaukee Spartans over the 15 Black Team 84-73. It was impossible to stop this young man and he was the difference in the game

There are talks of star PG Larry Bradley transferring schools this coming school year. One of the schools mentioned is Vander Blue and Jeronne Maymon's high school, Madison Memorial. Other possibilities are Milwaukee Bayview and a few Chicago-area schools.

In Mark Miller's latest rankings (8/12) he says Tosa East is Bradley's most likely destination.

He is at Vincent currently. The other schools talked about were Madison Memorial and Milwaukee Bayview. Along with speculation of Chicago schools.

I kinda doubt he goes to Memorial, however, due to Vander Blue's success at the point.....unless he is planning to make a switch to forward b/c of his height. Anyone know how much he has grown since the 6'3" was reported?

funny story.. if you look at the 2011 rankings.. at #7, you'll see Paul Jesperson.. I was born in Merrill and lived there til i was 10

he's my best friends backyard neighbor and i've known him since i was like 7 or 8.. it's really weird to see him on a top 10 players in Wisconsin list

if anyone ever needs inside info on PJ then i guess i'm the guy you wanna talk to
