I know, sounds like he is going to be very covetted. It would be nice to see Bo offer him very soon after we wrap up the 2010 class. This kid has obvious skills and it's always huge to be the 1st offer.

Not sure if we are going to lock up the 2010 class that soon. I guess scout radio reported Evan Anderson was going to commit to kentucky soon. It was reported on the kentucky rivals or scout page (I can't remember) but it def on scout radio. I hope it's false but only time will tell

Nice work on the updates, OnWisconsin.
That is an incredibly glowing report on Bradley from Orange and Blue. The Badgers are going to need a catalyst on offense once Jordan Taylor graduates a year later. We were really prone to long droughts with Kammron Taylor running the offense between Harris and Hughes. It took Greg Stiemsma's court vision of all people's to relieve us in many instances. We struggled generating offense when Hughes was injured against Davidson. Blue and D. Taylor are more in the mold of Kam or Flowers than Hughes or Devin. If grades aren't an issue as they are for so many Milwaukee area players, I envision Bradley as a priority recruit for the Badgers.
Visa vie Evan Anderson, half of me wants the rumour to be accurate, the other half hopes it's false. In my opinion he's a stiff, but my machismo precludes me from wholeheartedly being willing to accept defeat over a home grown player.

lol i know right...I have a feeling they wont offer him though because we are stacked at that position. I dont wanna end up with kyle kelm though. I wouldnt mind if we banked it too. Marquise mason might develop well too. At the very least he would end up being a good role player. He is very explosive

What's wrong with Kyle Kelm? He is exactly the type of player Bo Ryan's system prefers. Very versatile, can score inside and out, creates mismatches, and is fundamentally sound.
He's not strictly a low post player like Anderson.

Have you actually seen Kyle Kelm play to make such a conclusion?
This is a quote today from Mark Miller of WSN Hoops:

Kyle Kelm, the 6-9 sophomore from Randolph in the class of 2010, also remains in the mix. Greg Gard watched Kelm in an open gym in Randolph a couple of days ago. Kelm has terrific skills and continues to get better and better.

I was looking for some more info on Bradley's stats and came across the Milwaukee Vincent player statistics page. The link is below.
A few observations:
1) It shows here that Bradley average 9.3 points per game as a freshman.
2) He was the 3rd leading scorer on the team, behind only 2 seniors, Marvin Fitzgerald and Shavon Scott.
3) He played in 19 of the team's 22 or 23 games.

Here is a slightly dated NY2LA article ranking the Milwaukee area 2011 kids. Harris and Bradley top the list.

That wasn't my point. You implied that you'd almost rather bank the scholarship than take Kelm, if we couldn't secure Anderson.
I was wondering if the negative opinion about Kelm was based on actually witnessing his ability first hand...and I guess I got my answer.

not a negative opinion of kelm...i just think we are pretty good a the 4-5 position. sorry for the confusion...In my opinion i would rather have barnes or flavien davis than bank it. I just dont think a pf/c is a need whether we got anderson or not

I somewhat agree about 4/5 not ever really being a vital need for the 2010 class. Although, I could see why it would be desired by Bo. Because of the way he recruited in 2007-2008, we'll be loaded with frontcourt players in 2010. He allocated five schollies to frontcourt players in the span of two classes, if you count the re-classification of Gavinski. But they'll all be upper classmen most likely at that juncture. We'd really have to load up in 2011, if we didn't take any in 2010. And bigs develop slower than smaller players, so in 2012 or so we'd have to rely on a wholly unprepared frontcourt player o | |
