New wrinkle in Tiger offense gives Turner a chance at quarterback

A season-long struggle for Massillon coach Tom Stacy has been trying to get his skill players involved in the offense.

From the start, DeVoe Torrence has managed to get his touches as the Tigers' starting tailback. In Week Five against Mentor, they showcased a power-I formation which allowed K.J. Herring a chance to carry the ball as a halfback, a change which has brought positive results.

But the problem which continued to arise was finding a spot for the Tigers' third tailback, Justin Turner.

Turner was getting plenty of playing time at cornerback, but struggling to find a way into the offensive rotation. Through the first six games, he had just five carries for 19 yards - mostly on end-arounds or receiver counters - as well as two catches for 17 yards.
