Hageman possesses offers from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Florida, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Iowa, Iowa State, Michigan State, Illinois, and Connecticut. Minnesota, Wisconsin, and OSU are his favorites. The writer says Hageman's decision is a ways away, but his comment paint a different picture.
I like the Badgers chances with Hageman. OSU just took a commit from TE Reid Fragel. We're in close proximity to Minneapolis, which he says is important. He loves how we use our tight ends....why wouldn't he? He came to both the spring game and junior day. We just scored a fantastic throwing quarterback. Depth chart could be seen as a positive. And we're much more successful than the Gophers. We have everything this kid is, and should be looking for.

if we land him you should look out for a suicide watch on the Goofer boards taking arguably there top prospect.

When Fragel committed to OSU first thing I thought was Hageman to us. OSU is well known for taking the first guy (See Harris over Woods last year) at a particular position, so I like our chances.
In all fairness, we should be able to recruit nationally at the TE position, so this really shouldn't be considered much of a shocker if Hageman commits eventually.

If football + basketball are their lives in Minnesota.....then they should have done the deed and gotten it over with already.
If we can't still steal 1-2 players away from 1-win Punky, our Minnesota recruiter (Bostad?) isn't doing his job.

I'm saying that that is what Minnesota has used as a crutch for saying that they are going to be in bowl games every year is the fact that their coach(not recruiters) is pulling down "big named" recruits (even though most were Jucos or questionable qualifiers) to take their top skill position prospect for sure would probably hurt especially considering they somehow believe they are putting a fence around Minny even though they lost Floyd, Mobley,Schafer, and Kelly four of the top 5 instate prospects(according to Rivals)
and you know Hockey is their lives in Minny even though we are better at that too

From the Ohio State site. Hageman's father says that they were both very impressed with Ohio State at camp this weekend. The Ohio State coaches told him that they will hold a spot for him, and he got the sense that they are expecting the largest recruiting class they have ever had. He will visit Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Florida soon for camps.

Well thats not good news... On the plus side its good to see that he is traveling around with his dad. Maybe that will make distance more of a factor

didn't ohio state already get a committment from another top te? I can't see him ending up there, i'd still say uw should be able to get him...maybe they should offer deciccio to speed this up....

Hageman is also a great defensive prospect and Deciccio may be a 3rd tier oprion behind Hageman and Juckem

Not offering DeCicco is a great sign for our confidence in landing Hageman. I mean a great tight end school like Miami has even offered, but we're still refraining.
Hageman I think is a true tight end. To waste his uncanny awareness when the ball is in the air would be a shame. He's also not freakishly athletic so I don't know if he's immensely versatile. Juckem is the player who could project to multiple positions because of his versatility.

To say Juckem is much more athletic might be a stretch. Juckem has posted results of a 4.66 40, 8 bench reps, and a 33" verticle. I think Hageman could better all of those numbers. Also, Hageman would have likely played D1 basketball, once again something that Juckem might not be able to say. I would prefer Hageman, as Bernini implied, at TE mainly because of his coordination. He also seems set on being a TE, so I would doubt that he would go anywhere if there is even a doubt of playing otherwise.

Talks about Hageman's visit to Madison last weekend. The trip was more for academics than for football purposes. Lists the Badgers as one of his favorites, due to the use of TE's and proximity to his family.
