Frederick was offered by the in-state Badgers today. He expects to make a decision soon.
Personally I feel that this was made in conjunction with Harris verballing to Cincy. I expect the staff to look at him as a DT.

"(The University of Minnesota) didn't really compare," UW Kicker Taylor Mehlhaff said. "I loved the atmosphere here. It was pretty easy to cross (Minnesota) off the list. I wanted to play at the highest level possible but I also wanted to have that college atmosphere."

And soon to be commitment.
I agree, and defensive tackle is a more ideal position for his skill-set, in spite of what he says. He's built pretty low to the ground, has "great get-off" for a man his size, and can eat up space. He needs to have a little more confidence in his abilities. I see a stud and the very type of defensive tackle we need.
That's 1 in-state offer following camp. At least 2 of Juckem, Klein, Gosse, or Dippel should receive one in the next few weeks. Juckem could be dependent on Hageman and Decicco's interest in the interim. Klein on Goodlow, Fenton, or O'Neill. Gosse or Dippel on Gilbert (I prefer Gosse).

The world is in shock that he took the offer. Seriously though if we put him at DT he has a major opportunity to fill a need

Was proud of his play in Big Foot's opening win and has decided to enroll early at UW like Kohout.

Travis Frederick - ESPN Video
Warning: low quality
But you can get a sense of how gargantuan the kid is and how well he moves relatively.
