From TheWolverine...received an offer from UM the day Denard Robinson and Adrian Witty signed with UM...has no problem leaving home for college and may visit UM for the spring game.

South Carolina is McDowell's most recent offer, and he hopes to visit the Gamecocks. West Virginia, Connecticut and Florida International have also offered.

He carried 101 times for 928 yards (9.2 average) and 12 touchdowns and caught 10 passes for 288 yards and four more scores last fall.

McDowell registered an electronically timed 4.5 40-yard dash and 30-inch vertical at the Miami Nike combine.
