Cooks wanted to offer after seeing film. Reason for optimism: Doeren extended the offer. I think he either commits quickly or he drags this out and goes elsewhere, ala most Texas prospects we offer (Still sour about Trice, Goodlow and to some extent Cooper)

Kirpes enjoyed his visit to Madison, and considered verballing. Will take some time to think over his decision. Wisconsin leads

Still no other offers, so I think it is just a matter of time. Seems like a sleeper/flyer taken pretty early in the cycle

I have to think with the way he was gun ho for UW and that he didnt commit on the visit, add to that the "make sure your 100%" line from BB, that he is being somewhat slow played.

That, and his only other offer is from Sam Houston State! We have plenty of offers out to linebackers too.

Dont get me wrong, I think the kid is a player, going off his film. I just think they like Ontko better or even Kelby Brown. Grant Ontko may end up being a S due to his speed.
