ASSETS: Has good height at 6-6 and is very mobile for his size.
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT: Needs to get stronger and work on flexibility in his knees.
WHAT WAS MOST IMPRESSIVE AT COMBINE: Really got my attention during testing when he shuttled a 4.78 on a slow and slippery surface.
CONCLUSION: Currently does not have any offers, but is receiving a ton of interest. Right now he is very raw, but he is definitely a D-I prospect.

Badgers offer Schofner, Givens - ESPN

Skyler Schofner (Johnstown, Ohio/Monroe), one of the top five offensive linemen in the Buckeye State, landed an offer from Wisconsin on Wednesday.
"They called my school, and then I called them," Schofner said. "They said they were offering me. They told me I'm one of the few offensive linemen from outside Wisconsin they have offered."
The 6-foot-7, 280-pound Schofner also has scholarship offers from Illinois, Michigan, Kentucky, North Carolina State, Maryland, Indiana, Vanderbilt, Akron, Toledo and Ohio University.
Schofner professes no favorites at this point and wants to take some visits to check out some of the schools that have offered.
"I'll be visiting Wisconsin coming up soon," he said. "I'm not sure exactly when."

OL Skyler Schofner (6-7 300) of Sunberry, OH has an offer from USC and says it's a school that interests him. "Definitely. I'm looking at several schools but am keeping my options open," he said. "I want a school with a good tradition, good academics, and that's a big family." Schofner has offers from most Big 10 schools including Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, and Purdue. He also has offers from USC, North Carolina, Cincinnati, and South Florida. Schofner has 20 offers in all. He did not name a leader but did say he likes the Spartans. Schofner also said there is a chance he could visit Columbia. He wants to take some visits this summer but is not sure where he will go. As a junior, Schofner says he had over 50 pancakes. He has not visited any schools as of yet.

Schofner still isn't at the point where he's sat down and determined who his official favorites are, but he does list MSU, Wisconsin, Kentucky, North Carolina, and BC as programs he likes.

Most important factors are tradition and coaching staff.

Probably won't take visits until during his senior season, so a decision could be a long ways away.

Schofner's unofficial favorites of the schools who've offered are MSU, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Kentucky. Although he makes it pretty clear that OSU would be his favorite if offered, and he's hoping for even more beyond his impressive 21 program offer list. Talks about a very strong relationship with Wisconsin assistant Joe Rudolph. Will decide after senior season.
