Not that your contributions aren't appreciated, but if a recruit commits or there's a significant news update, it'd be far preferable if you used the search function located above to find the featured player's thread and relay the info within. If there isn't any existing threads, then you could create one, which is fine if it's basic, and then one of the moderators will dress it up for you if need be.
Thanks for your help!

He is supposedly a beast, he just had some pretty bad grade issues, or so I hear.

Just a heads up, '10 VA OL/DL Khamrone Kolb says Wisconsin has been showing interest...Wisconsin has yet to offer but Khamrone says in this article that they would join his group of top three schools if they were to offer. Don't know how serious you guys are about him.

By Jamie Oakes. Khamrone was fully cleared to participate this past Friday...estimates he got about 25-30 plays. He says it stood out that coaches from UVA were the first to see him as well as the first to call on September 1st, but says both PSU and UConn also called September 1st and suspects they'll be stopping by soon. Still focused on the same three schools but says Wisconsin has been showing interest and if they offered they would join his top three schools....also interested in UNC but says right now it is still those three schools.

He's a candidate for an offer if Havenstein goes elsewhere

With now 15 commitments in this class where do you see the remaining 5-8 scholarships going?
QB-Brennan
RB-Lewis
WR-Mason
TE/HB-
OL/DL-KZ/Herring/Irwin/Gilbert/Lewallen
LB-Byers/Harrison/Ontoko
DB-Wright/Trotter/Tamakloe
ATH-Garner
RB-James White/James Mconico
TE/HB-Alex Smith/Cadogan(maybe both?)
Line-Clarence Murphy & Carl Davis/Gaston
DB-Tony Grimes & Jean
Now I dont think this is going to exactly happen but its a definite possibility, and would put an exclamation point on the end of the class.
So far the only ones who look like a reach was Wright(ehhh) and Harrison(failed triple package) All the other non-ranked guys were players offered early so the staff obviously felt comfortable with them, so as long as there are no more 2nd and 3rd options Ill consider this a very good class.

I see Mauro and Harrison being the same, with Harrison being faster. I will reserve judgement on Harrison until I see him play, same with Wright.

We were recruiting Cadogan at H-Back, so he was made expendable by the Garner commitment today. But Smith is still an option because he's a tight end.
What about the big uglies, Troy? I know they're not sexy and excitement inducing, but they are a necessity.
An extremely optimistic wish list for me of remaining commitments would be: TE Alex Smith, OT, Skyler Schofner, MLB Toloa'i Ho Ching, RB James McConico/Leighton Settle, CB Tony Grimes, CB/FS Peniel Jean, DT Beau Allen, DT Mike Hardy/Kyle Costigan, DE Clarence Murphy (DE isn't really a problem spot so I can deal w/ it if it means procuring Grimes)
With this being the final positional distribution:
QB: Joe Brennan
RB: James McConico/Leighton Settle
WR: Marquis Mason, Manessah Garner
TE: Alex Smith
OL: Skyler Schofner, Dallas Lewallen, Jake Irwin
FB: Cameron Ontko
DE: Warren Herring, Clarence Murphy
DT: Beau Allen, Bryce Gilbert, Mike Hardy/Kyle Costigan
LB: A'i Ho Ching, Konrad Zagzebski, Cody Byers, Josh Harrison
CB: Tony Grimes, Peniel Jean, Jameson Wright
S: Frank Tamakloe, Michael Trotter
ST/ATH: Jeff Lewis
This class needs a strong finish for it to make it palatable to me, because there have been too many scholarships frivolously distributed already, IMO. Ho Ching would be a luxury, but he's too good to pass up. Might be a moot point because he probably doesn't choose us anyways.

I forgot about Schofner, and I think Allen is Minnesota bound. Im thinking one of Davis and Gaston will be Badgers, and Murphy looks like a tweener DE/DT and I think he'll move inside.
