Allen talks about his season and recruiting. He is hearing mostly from tOSU, Illinois, Cincinnati, and other Big-10 schools. He was at tOSU a couple of times this year and really liked it.

From the MSU site...will take a few visits before deciding. MSU and a few other schools want to see some film from his senior season before offering.

Allen is down to MSU and Wisconsin. Will be at MSU this weekend for an unofficial visit and Wisconsin next weekend for an official visit when they play Penn State. He would like to commit in the coming weeks.

I think this was a case of Denicos being a little more interested in Illinois then they were in him...as such he is looking elsewhere and I would expect him to end up at Wisconsin. Hageman, Allen and Emilien (all guys I see leaning towards Wisconsin) would be a great way to cement what is already one of the best classes in the Big 10.

I'd be thrilled with Emilien and Hageman, but probably prefer a taller LB than Allen. We also took a commitment from Borland who is 6 feet. Once they gain weight, how is at least one of them going to maintain their quickness and athleticism required when they play in space as an OLB? Blake Sorensen, Elijah Hodge, and Culmer St. Jean have all been somewhat disappointing during their careers thus far at Wisconsin. Our current starting MLB trio are all 6-2 or taller individually.....and have been very effective this season. Give me the much lankier looking Roderick Goodlow or Conor O'Neill instead.
If Wisconsin has Allen or Borland slated as a MLB.....AJ Klein from in-state would have more than sufficed.
Wes, do you have an inkling of where | |
