6/2 By Simmons...Utah and Wake Forest have offered and he has been told Michigan is offering as well. TCU, Kansas and Nebraska are also in contact. Plans to camp or visit Arizona, Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State and Oklahoma.

6/23/08 UW is recruiting him the hardest. Comfortable/flexible with any location atmosphere. Would like the team to be successful and/or up and coming. Coaching is not as big of a factor as team chemistry. No favorites, but appears to like Arizona, UW, Michigan, and Nebraska the most. Rivals $ 6/23/08 Talks about how loaded Lancaster is in the secondary, with up to 8 defensive backs likely to play D1 ball. Hurst was described as having the best deep ball defense.

by Jason Howell 8/8 Added a new offer from Baylor.....top six consists of the Bears, Wisconsin, Kansas St., TCU, Wake Forest, and Arizona. Is scheduled for a trip to Wake, and then he'll visit the rest of his top schools out of state.

8/28 From the Wisconsin site...talks about how excited he is to start his season and about his team goals. Speaks with Coach Cooks frequently and is interested in Wisconsin, Wake Forest, Arizona, TCU, Kansas State, North Carolina (all offered), Auburn and West Virginia (have not offered).

Hurst will take official visits to Wisconsin and Wake Forest. He is also considering visits to Kansas State, Tennessee, and Oregon....possibly Arizona. Claims he does not have a favorite. Says he is focused on Arizona, Wake Forest, Wisconsin, Kansas State, North Carolina, and possibly Tennessee and Oregon. North Carolina is latest to offer. Cooks would like to get him on campus for either the Ohio State game or Penn State game. Hurst is making plans with his family to attend one of these games.

10/14 Hurst is focused on Wake Forest, Arizona, Kansas State, Tennessee, TCU, and UNC. Wake and Tennessee (sans) offer speculated as his top schools. Won't decide until near signing day.
