Thomas Jefferson junior Brock DeCicco is one of the WPIAL's best athletes, a 6-foot-5 specimen who already has been offered scholarships to play football at the University of Pittsburgh and Connecticut.

Has very good ball skills, good hands and the ability to catch the ball away from his body. Shows the body control to adjust to throws and the concentration to track down balls in the air and catch in a crowd. Displays an adequate vertical leap and will challenge for jump balls. Runs solid routes. Has good speed, but may lack legitimate field-stretching ability in college. Will make some vertical plays based on his ability to make tough catches, but could struggle to separate from speedy linebackers and safeties. Needs to get bigger and stronger to help him get clean releases. Can be knocked off his routes by bigger defenders. Lacks ideal elusiveness, but has enough wiggle to make a defender miss if he can catch on the run. He will be at his best in the short and intermediate ranges, but offers some punch on deeper passes. He's a physical blocker, despite his size. Shows the ability to step, reach and seal a defender. Makes good initial contact and drives his legs to get push. His form isn't always pretty, but he works to get his man blocked. Should develop into a strong blocker with additional bulk. DeCicco needs to hit a college weight program, but he's a good player who should become a well-rounded college tight end.

Maryland and Iowa offered, joining Miami, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and UCONN. Plans to visit Florida, Wisconsin, and Miami. Had developed relationships with former Pitt assistants now at Miami and Wisconsin.

Depth and how well a program uses tight ends are his two most important factors that will go into making his decision. Wants to visit Florida, Miami, Wisconsin, and Iowa this summer.

Heavily slanted Pitt piece. Enjoyed his Pitt visit, where his brother currently plays (Dom). Not ready to commit, but will do so before the season.

He could be our next commit if he makes it to campus. He stated he wanted an offer, and the staff did so without making him first come to campus, so Brock has to be pleased about that. Personally, I think it comes down to Pitt, UI and UW

He might only make one trip this summer and that will be to Wisconsin. He wants to decide before his senior season.
If he silently verballed to Pitt, it came before his recent Wisconsin offer, because he is clearly extremely interested in the Badgers. I wouldn't be surprised to see him commit if he has a positive visit. Do the math.....he's only traveling to Wisconsin this summer and making his decision before the season. It's either the in-state schools or us probably. Hageman or Decicco I'd be thrilled with. On video he looks an awful lot like Travis Beckum. Explosive off the line, good speed, occasionally making guys miss, going up and catching balls w/ his hands at the peak of his jump, sits down in the zone and makes a quick move after the catch. I'm a big fan.

By B Lichtenfels. Brock did not announce his choice Pitt team passing camp, and is taking his time with his decision. He is interested in Florida, Miami and Wisconsin along with Pitt.

The more I read about Brock and really watch his videos, the more I like this kid as our 2nd TE commit. Although I would be pleased with either Hageman or Brock, I think I am beginning to tilt towards the DeCicco camp.
Does anyone know if DeCicco has taken his trip to Madison yet? If not, my bet would be that he joins Duckworth on his unofficial this weekend.
I would hope that it is between us and Pitt. I would hate to see him end up at FL or Miami....they already have a hotbed of recruits....I don't want to see them stealing kids from our neck of the woods (well kind of our neck of the woods).
