The best skill player in the area -- other than Phoebus quarterback Tajh Boyd -- might be Gloucester's Ray Harris. Some may argue for Bethel's Jontel Evans, Hampton's Tron Martinez or even Phoebus' Shawne Alson, but Harris was able to get a lot done last season without much assistance from a 1-9 team.

Harris, a 5-foot-10, 175-pound wide receiver, led the Dukes with 377 yards rushing and 24 catches for 402 yards.

He already has offers from Old Dominion, West Virginia, Missouri, Pittsburgh, East Carolina and Buffalo and he's hearing from a number of other colleges, according to Gloucester coach Tommy Reamon.
