'Raw talent' has interest from USC, CU > Palmetto Sports Recruiting News

Quote:
DE Justin Taylor (6-4 220) of Norwood, NC has received several offers and is getting interest from Clemson and USC. North Carolina, NC State, East Carolina, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisville, Auburn, and Virginia have all offered. Taylor’s coach Luke Little says that Taylor had never played football until last year. “He showed up two weeks before football started,” said Little. I saw him playing basketball as a sophomore and told him that, if he played football, he would have a chance to go to college for free somewhere” Coach Little says that Taylor is a raw talent but is an athlete that can cover the field. “He has a lot to learn. He just wants to get up field and attack the quarterback,” he said. Taylor says that Jay Graham of USC told him that USC liked Taylor’s film and all they need to do is see him person to offer him. “I hope he (Taylor) considers visiting USC.” Clemson may also offer. “They like his film too,” he said. “Justin wants to stay close to home because it’s just him and his mom. I tell him that Clemson is close. South Carolina is close. Tennessee is close. (North) Carolina is close. He has a lot of choices.” Little says he does not know whether Taylor has any favorites.
