QB Rob Henry (6-2 198) of Ocala, FL will make an unofficial visit to USC this weekend for the spring game. Henry will be joined on the trip by his grandfather. Henry has not been offered by the Gamecocks but has been in touch with recruiter Steve Spurrier Jr. "I've gotten three handwritten letters from him, so I'll find out more this weekend about his interest," Henry said. Henry said he has verbal offers from Louisville and Illinois and has visited both schools. He is also hearing from Auburn, Alabama, Stanford, Florida Atlantic, Central Florida, South Florida and Purdue. He does not have a favorite and would like to make a decision by early July. Henry passed for 1100 yards and 10 touchdowns, and rushed for 200 yards and four scores last season. "He's a great athlete," said his coach John Brantley III. "He could play receiver, safety or quarterback. He moved here from Mississippi intent on being a quarterback. He's made a lot of progress. He had a great Nike combine. He's a workaholic and leads by example. He has above average arm strength and can make all of the throws."

Illinois is the current leader for QB Rob Henry (6-2 198) of Ocala, FL who says the Illini, which has offered, is showing the strongest interest. "I've been up there several times and I feel comfortable up there," Henry said. Coaches from Florida, West Virginia, Ole Miss and Northern Illinois have been by the school. Henry is expecting USC recruiters David Reaves and Steve Spurrier Jr. to visit this spring. Henry attended USC's spring game. That's the last time he talked to Gamecock coaches. He has offers from Illinois and Louisville and is also drawing interest from Auburn, Alabama, Stanford, Florida Atlanta, South Florida, Central Florida and Purdue.

Finally, Ocala (Fla.) Trinity Catholic quarterback Rob Henry, a Purdue commitment, is expected although he doesn't have a Florida offer. The Gators likely are looking at Henry as an option only if four-star quarterback Jordan Reed doesn't qualify. Reed committed to the Gators in early August.
