By Sean Fitz. Shyquawn currently has offers from both Toledo and Maryland...not ready to decide and looking to take more visits. Has visited both Pitt and PSU lately, attended the PSU-Iowa game, and says he has been talking to both a lot. PSU is recruiting as a CB.

Shyquawn visited PSU for the Iowa game and says it was a good trip, except for the rain.....got to meet most of the coaches and says he should know in a few weeks if PSU will offer. Says PSU leads and if they offer he is most likely going there...really likes PSU and would love to go there. Also talks Pitt and Maryland....really likes the coaches at Pitt and likes the Maryland campus....has offers from Maryland and Toledo still.

By Tony Greco. Has written offers from Cincinnati, Maryland, and Toledo....PSU, Pitt, and Iowa have started showing interest as well. Attended the Pitt-Navy game and the PSU-Iowa game...Pitt likes him as both a receiver and cornerback, and he should know in a few weeks if Pitt is going to offer.

By Tony Greco. Pitt extended a written offer on Wednesday, joining Cincinnati, Maryland, and Toledo as the schools that have offered Shyquawn. Excited about the offer and talked with the Pitt coaches....they want him at another game. Shyquawn says Pitt is up there and it is pretty cool because he wants to be close to his family.

By Sean Fitz. Shyquawn is being recruited by the same schools still....his coach is talking with PSU and ha said that PSU liked his senior film. PSU is probably his leader....hopes PSU offers and is waiting on that.

By Sean Fitz. PSU has offered.....coach Mike McQueary came to the school this past Monday and offered a full scholarship. Cathedral Prep's HC, Mike Mischler, says that Shyquawn was extremely happy about the offer....had a good visit for the Iowa game....PSU is definitely his first choice. Coach thinks Shyquawn will take a visit to PSU mid-January and make a decision some time after....working very hard to be a full qualifier.
