Obv. I (and the other mods) have heard of Seastrunk already, but I was waiting for Rivals or Scout to have some more concrete info on any offers before posting a thread.

Contenders: LSU, Texas, USC
Scouting Report: Probably the most electric HS tailback since Reggie Bush. Definition of a home-run hitter, Seastrunk's suddenness is unmatched. Has tremendous initial acceleration, change of direction, and that final gear that very few humans have. Personal best of 10.37 100m, should get that down into the 10.2s before he finishes high school. Compliments his speed with good lateral vision, and is pretty slippery on first contact. Long-jumping 20-9 in middle school, Seastrunk has tremendous leg strength, agility, and body control. Has shown flashes coming out of the backfield and should develop into a dangerous receiving threat. Not a workhorse back, Seastrunk will have to adjust from the Wing-T and show consistency running between the C gaps. Probably a better fit in a zone blocking scheme going forward. Special talent who has one of the highest ceilings of any player in this class.

From the Auburn site...says his visit to Auburn was "the best experince ever"...he enjoyed how he spent alot of time with the head coach and the family atmosphere...Auburn is high on his list

Lache Seastrunk - College Football Recruiting 2010 - ESPN

ESPNU 150 Watch List running back Lache Seastrunk has been strongly linked to Auburn but according to affiliate Web site InsideTexas.com he is not a lock for the Tigers.

"I'm hoping to have something sorted out by the second game of the year (Sept. 11 vs. Leander). There is a lot of clutter right now with all of the schools and I want to start sorting all of that out," he said.

Additionally, in-state power Texas is not out of the running for Seastrunk at this point, "Texas is still high on me. I'm still very high on Texas."

LSU, USC, Oklahoma, Alabama, Florida, Miami-FL, Nebraska, Texas A&M, UCLA, Baylor, North Carolina, Oregon and California are amongst the other schools recruiting Seastrunk.
