After Bethel defensive end James Gayle gave the Hokies his pledge Wednesday, Tech picked up commitments No. 10 and 11 on Saturday. After last year's massive class, the Hokies can likely only take 12-16 prospects in this class.

The latest additions are teammates at Hermitage High in Richmond: Theron Norman, a two-way star, and defensive end Duan Perez-Means.

Norman is 6-3, 190 pounds and could play receiver or defensive back for the Hokies. He had 30 receptions and three interceptions last season. He'll play quarterback for Hermitage this year, replacing Ju-Ju Clayton, an incoming Tech freshman.

Norman is a four-star prospect rated the No. 11 player in Virginia and No. 28 "athlete" in the nation by Rivals.com. He chose Tech over offers from Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia and Syracuse, and heavy interest from Tennessee.

Perez-Means is 6-3, 220 and could be a tight end or defensive end for the Hokies. He had seven touchdown catches and six sacks last season. Perez-Means is rated the No. 28 prospect in the state and No. 28 weakside defensive end in the nation by Rivals.

He had the same offers as Norman, along with East Carolina and West Virginia.
