Victor will likely attend tOSU's spring game and summer camp. He is hearing from Travis Howard and Etienne Sabino about the Buckeyes, but he did transfer to a new HS. Victor is most interested in Ohio State, LSU, Florida, Tennessee, and most of the SEC.

By Phil Kornblut
ATH Victor Marc (6-0 205) of Hollywood, FL has verbal offers from Clemson, Central Florida and Ohio State. He's also hearing from West Virginia, Georgia and Auburn. "I'm talking to Clemson about every other week to keep in touch with the coaches and to show that I might be interested," Marc said. "I don't have a favorite. I'm interested in whay everybody has to say." Marc said Clemson offered in early March and plans to watch him in the spring before making the offer official. Marc has not visited any schools but plans to see Miami, Florida, Florida State and Ohio State. Marc plays quarterback, receiver and safety and prefers offense.

Says that he really enjoyed his visit to Ohio State (spring game), and is pretty confident of receiving a scholarship offer from tOSU. He is not sure what position he is being recruited to play but its probably gonna be RB or DB.

Marc hopes to show off QB skills at new school
By Billy Tucker

Updated: May 7, 2008

ESPN 150 Watch List prospect Victor Marc (Hallandale, Fla.) is one of the better athletes in the 2009 class whom no one is talking about.

The multifaceted prospect's versatility is perhaps the underlying factor in his national recruiting obscurity. Last season at Dr. Krop High School, Marc was employed as a dual-threat quarterback in a zone-read system, and his stats were far from eye-popping. The talented athlete threw for just over 800 yards on about 10 pass attempts per game while adding close to 500 yards on the ground. Solid numbers, but not enough to attract major recruiting attention in the early going, at least not as a college quarterback prospect.

Regardless of stats and notoriety, the skills we observed on film from the dynamic signal-caller were impressive enough to garner an Under Armour All-America invitation as early as February. Marc's playmaking ability and striking initial speed on film are rare qualities. When you factor in his chiseled 210-pound frame, we saw the exciting makeup of a highly-productive Division I player -- regardless of position. Marc shows all the physical skills to succeed at tailback, and a supreme blend of size, speed and athleticism to potentially play linebacker, strong safety or even remain at quarterback with continued polish.

Although he says he is open to playing anywhere in college, deep down, quarterback is the position Marc favors.

"I feel I can take over the game at quarterback," Marc said. "I can throw on the run, in the pocket or tuck it and go.

"I think I can make throws and plays other quarterbacks can't."

Manny Navarro's Spring Tour, Part 3 - 05/14/2008 - MiamiHerald.com

Quote:
One player who will be deeply entrenched at quarterback at least one more season is Hallandale's Victor Marc. The 6-foot, 215-pound senior-to-be, who ran Krop's offense in 2006 and 2007, was busy running the Chargers' offense Monday when I visited Hallandale. And he seemed to be doing a lot more throwing than he did last year at Krop, when he completed just 31 passes for 608 yards, 8 TDs and 7 INTs.

Second-year coach Dameon Jones said Marc, who is receiving competition from talented 2011 quarterback Armani Coswell (6-1, 155), has the arm to be a college quarterback if he wanted. But he said of the 12 schools who have already offered Marc a scholarship, only one (South Florida) might be willing to give him a shot at playing QB. Marc, apparently, is warming up to the idea of playing defensive back, which is where most schools, including Ohio State, Central Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, Boston College, Clemson and Auburn envision his future.

ATH Victor Marc (6-0 205) of Hollywood, FL plans to make visits to USC and Clemson this summer. He hears regularly from USC recruiter Robert Gillespie and Clemson recruiter David Blackwell. "Coach Gillespie and I have a really good relationship," Marc said. "He's a cool coach. And coach Blackwell is a cool coach and basically lets me know it's basically my decision." Marc said he'll trim his list of 17 offers to five by the end of the summer, and he said USC and Clemson will be in the final five. "When nobody knew about me, they showed me the love," he said. Among Marc's ther offers are Central Florida, Ohio State, West Virginia, Boston College, North Carolina, South Florida, Florida, Auburn and Maryland. Marc plays quarterback, receiver and safety and is being recruited as an athlete.
