Class of 2010 quarterback/athlete Brion Carnes (Bradenton, Fla./Manatee) is a prospect to watch on Florida's west coast for the next cycle. The 6-foot-1, 177-pounder already holds offers from South Florida, Middle Tennessee State and UAB as a quarterback and is getting attention from Florida State, Clemson, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Virginia and Notre Dame early on. He wants to play quarterback in college and is a good passer, completing 14-of-16 passes for 168 yards during his team's first game. Carnes' teammate, running back Ben Axon, is a 2009 Clemson commit.
