Moore Will Announce Monday

WR D.L. Moore (6-5 188) of Bowling Green, KY said Sunday night he will make his college decision Monday between USC, Colorado and Purdue. Moore said he had not made his decision as of Sunday night and he did not indicate a leader. However, according to a USC source, the Gamecocks feel good about their chances. Moore said he talked to his Purdue recruiter Sunday and missed a call from USC head coach Steve Spurrier. He said he would just simply call the coaches sometime Monday night after his basketball practice to tell them of his decision.

D.L. Moore to South Carolina

Bowling Green standout wide receiver D.L. Moore has committed to South Carolina, picking the Gamecocks over Colorado and Purdue.

The 6-foot-5 Moore was one of the top receivers in the state this season when there was a bumper crop of wide outs. He helped the Purples to a state runner-up finish and 13-2 mark in Class 5-A.

Moore finished the season with 63 catches for 1,350 yards and 13 touchdowns - all three school records. He had right at 2,000 yards receiving for his career.

Moore had said in several interviews during the past few months that Steve Spurrier Jr., the wide receivers coach and the son of South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier.
