Rutgers football recruiting, moderated. Post responsibly and with respect for players and coaches. Rumors and speculation should be clearly labeled as such.
Penn State might offer soon. Also expects to receive offers from Stanford and Iowa. Is a Rutgers fan, and his father is a RU alum. He visited there for Spring Practice, and is planning to visit Maryland soon.
From the Rutgers site. Boston College, Akron and Temple have offered joining Rutgers, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. Michigan State and Iowa are showing interest as well. Will decide before his senior season.

Tom Luginbill Works On His Latest Recruiting News...
"Logan Ryan, an ESPN 150 Watch List cornerback, has committed to play college ball in-state for Rutgers, the Star-Ledger reports.
ESPN's Billy Tucker said of the latest addition to the Scarlet Knights' Class of 2009, "Rutgers continues its torrid pace on the recruiting trail and is starting clean up on the remaining top-tier talent in the Garden State. Like safety Gerald Hodges (Paulsboro, N.J.), Ryan is a versatile defender and an excellent defensive prospect. This pickup fills also fills a void at corner, a position we thought needed to be addressed in this class." "He will bring great experience in a variety of different coverages to Piscataway and is just a well-rounded corner with the size, speed and quickness needed to become successful at the next level." "Excels more playing the ball in front of him with his great plant and drive skill and quick break on the throw; equally impressive stepping up and playing the perimeter run. Great "Cover 2" underneath skills but shows he can mirror WRs tightly in man-to-man with his great foot-quickness and recovery speed." "Ryan brings a lot to the table as a corner and could even grow into a safety during his career at Rutgers with his physical tools."
Last fall, Ryan passed for 1,400 yards and five touchdowns while rushing for 13 more scores. He also recorded 50 tackles and broke up five passes."
Edit: I don't know how to do cross-board references, nor update the title - so please excuse the posting as it is
