Zach says he was excited about receiving the offer in the mail...attended the Pitt-Youngstown State game, adds that he has been to the university prior and it is nice. Has been invited to attend PSU games as well, and plans to do so....also receiving interest from Purdue.

Hopes to hear from both PSU and UGA...Zach has always liked PSU, mentions the atmosphere and coach Paterno. Prefers defensive line....talks about UGA's style of defense, how they like big men on the DLine and play physical. Pitt and Purdue recruiting as an offensive tackle.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Scout.com was on hand covering the U.S. Army Junior Combine on Friday and we caught up with Zach Hooks while on location.

Charleroi (Pa.) junior offensive tackle/defensive tackle Zach Hooks is a man of few words. Hooks prefers to let his actions speak for him and they did as he had a strong showing at the combine.

Hooks holds an offer from Pittsburgh and he is looking for more. Penn State and Georgia are among the other schools showing interest.
