Wisconsin lineman visiting UCLA
Zac Epping (Kenosha, Wisc./Tremper) played defensive tackle his sophomore year. He added offensive tackle to his duties as a junior, but it didn't slow him down as he made 84 tackles, including four sacks, playing defensive tackle. Still, his future might be on offense.

"I see him playing center in college," Tremper Coach Frank Matrise said. "He has very good strength and moves his feet well. He is very agile for his size."

The 6-3 and 275-pound Epping has scholarship offers from Minnesota and Western Michigan. He is also drawing significant interest from Wisconsin, UCLA, Purdue, Indiana, and Northwestern.

Epping attended Wisconsin's junior day last weekend and is currently on the West Coast and will attend a junior day at UCLA this weekend.

"I didn't think it was a big deal, the de-commitment," former Gopher verbal David Gilreath said. "I think this was the best decision of my life."

"(The University of Minnesota) didn't really compare," UW Kicker Taylor Mehlhaff said. "I loved the atmosphere here. It was pretty easy to cross (Minnesota) off the list. I wanted to play at the highest level possible but I also wanted to have that college atmosphere."
