Pasco’s Josh Johnson Commits To Purdue

Wednesday night, Pasco receiver Josh Johnson told folks in Purdue he wanted to be a Boilermaker. This is the first of what’s likely to be several commitments out of the Dade City school.
“From what I understand, Josh Johnson committed to Purdue last night,” Pasco coach Tom McHugh said.
Purdue and Vanderbilt were after Johnson, who has played quarterback, running back and receiver in the Pirates offense. McHugh also fielded phone calls from Tulane, Colorado, North Carolina State as well as Florida International.
“He went up and visited Purdue and the head coach [Joe Tiller] came down here two times,” McHugh said. “He flew down and saw him before the Land O’ Lakes game.”
