Quote:
“I’ll probably take visits to West Virginia, Temple, Pittsburgh, North Carolina State and Maryland. I’ll take the visits after the season and then commit.” Custis said.
“I like West Virginia’s defensive concepts. I like the defensive line coach (Kirelawich) it would be an honor to be coached by him.” Custis said.
“West Virginia is like family there everybody stays together on and off the field. Big East is a tough conference to play in, get a chance to play with the best.” Custis said.
Custis comments about Pitt coaches
“Coach Wise (Pittsburgh) is a good guy,” Custis said. “It would be an honor to be with him. I like coach Wannstedt he’s a great guy. I like his style. He has hands on with the whole team.” Custis said.
“I’ve been to Pittsburgh. It’s a city with a lot of action. Academics at Pittsburgh are really good. I know a guy who graduated from Pitt and got a job paying $150,000 a year.” Custis commented.
“North Carolina State breeds a lot of defensive linemen they send a lot of players to the NFL,” Custis said. They practice a million drills. It would be an honor to be a part of it.”
“North Carolina State facilities are great, best in the nation. Their weight room is very big. The rehab facilities are good and they have an underwater treadmill.” Custis said.
“I’m close to Temple,” Custis said. “They have good facilities. Temple said I play early and start in the rotation.”
“Maryland has good facilities too. Maryland wants me to be an outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense. I like how Maryland plays defense. All the players get reps in practice.” Custis said.
“North Carolina State, West Virginia and Temple all said I could play early. It doesn’t matter to me if I play early It would be OK to redshirt. It’s not a priority from picking a school.” Custis said.
