Hey alt and 42, check out that video if you haven't seen it yet. There's zero doubt (barring injury) that he's going to be a good one. I wonder if we can have a 1st AA LB for about 6 years straight?

No doubt about his skills. I think he compares favorably to Paul P. Both weren't athletic freaks, but very cerebral players who have great leadership skills. Jurys out as to where he will land, but there is no doubt he needs to be on the field.

On a side note, i love scouting ohio. Great site, and i wish there was more like it.

I know some feel FB would be a waste, but did you see the way he blocks people? Kid wants to hurt someone.

Great free read...quotes from Michael and his parents about his decision to choose PSU over OSU (his parents thought he was going to end up in Columbus).

Class family and a kid who is destined for great things in Happy Valley...

This is my favorite part of that article -

"This was the first time Joe had met Michael Vincent," Cindy recalled, "and Joe said, 'Listen, I don't want you to worry that I'm going to be mad at you if you don't come to Penn State. And I don't want you to worry that your dad and family are going to be mad at you because they love you and they want what's best for you. So, you go to school where you feel the most comfortable.'"

Of course, Michael Vincent still has one more year of high school before joining the Nittany Lions. He could always change his mind, but his parents are sure that won't happen, even if the 80-year-old Paterno would suddenly retire beforehand.

"A lot of people tease Michael Vincent about whether Joe is going to be there when he's there," Cindy said. "Michael Vincent says, 'I don't care because he built what is there. And if he does retire when I am there, it will be an honor to stand there in a uniform.'"

Only if other recruits had this type of attitude...

WPIAL No. 1 Gateway handled by Cardinal Mooney, 27-6

Quote:
Fullback Mike Zordich, another Penn State recruit, added 86 yards on eight attempts scored Cardinal Mooney's first touchdown on a 6-yard run and was a force on defense at linebacker.
