Means the kid got what he wanted ... a conversation and a photo with the legend. I will be very shocked if PSU hears frm him again.

By M Alkire. LaLota enjoyed his visit to Penn State and was told he would play early if he came there. He talks about how comfortable he was while on campus, as well as how impressed he was with the academic side of Penn State. Anthony is focused on PSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Boston College, Virginia, Florida and Rutgers.

ESPN - DE Kennard has potential to be this year's Bowers - Football Recruiting

Although Montgomery's rise is impressive, he's not the only highly ranked prospect with a limited football background. Anthony LaLota (Princeton, NJ / The Hun School) just missed the ESPNU 150, and, like Montgomery, he picked up football in his junior year. LoLota is a good-sized prospect with nice upside not only at defensive end, but also at offensive tackle. We feel defensive end will be a better fit for him; he can get-off of the ball and displays good power. Still a bit raw in some phases of his game, Montgomery is a versatile, talented prospect who has quickly made a splash in the recruiting world.

IF distance is really a factor, then that would seem to put UM, ND, and UF at a disadvantage to the others . . . but then if it was really important, they might not be on the list now.
Since finding a place where he is comfortable seems to be the most important factor, I really hope he got to see one of UM's practices -- I'm sure that would leave him with a warm and fuzzy feeling about their family values.

LaLota is expected to make his college intentions clear in the coming weeks, with Michigan and Penn State believed to be his current top two choices.

Nope. That's from the Trenton Times, which isn't a paper that I regularly read (hence why I didn't see the item until MgoBlog ran it yesterday).

Well we won't have to wait long to find out; he is deciding September 12th (tomorrow) at 8:00 P.M. between Michigan, Penn State, Notre Dame & Boston College. I think ND has fell off a bit while BC has come on, but it is interesting that there is no UVA...
I don't really know if we have any chance at all but it would blow to see him go to UM.
