Don't like the comment, don't read this board ... very simple. He was looking for a third QB when both Newsome and Beavers were brimming with enthusiasm. Go back to the Michigan board.

I wonder how long Michigan fans will defend their new coach? Methinks they'll be singing a different tune once they start losing a few this year.

LOL! I've been thinking the same thing 42. Can you imagine what UM fans would say if RRod was the coach at tOSU? Instead, they are vouching for his character . . . at least until the honeymoon is over.
It is pretty amusing.

I'm pretty sure discussion boards are for, you know, discussion. Just a thought.
Go back to the last time you beat Michigan...oh wait, that was 12 years ago.

Again, don't like the comment - leave. Sounds like someone is trying to inflame something on this board with something totally irrevelant to Forcier's recruitment. You aren't welcome over here. Just a thought.

Let's get back to the topic of Tate Forcier. Discussiong about the number of QBs that UM is taking is relevant to this thread. That door was opened by the PSU crowd...but let's try to keep things civil.

Just a thought, it's an open board, slugger. Relax. It does have something to do with Forcier's recruitment, since there's a good chance he could be a part of Michigan's class if Newsome decommits.
For those in the know, how big of a threat to PSU/UM is Stanford?

Completely uninformed analysis:
Stanford got a commit last week from QB Taysom Hill...and their current class is heavy on kids who project as possible TEs (and that's on top of getting Konrad Reuland last year). Hill is a Harbaugh guy....camped at the Harbaugh camp and was basically a lock (as far as I'm concerned) once the Stanford offer came. Harbaugh pulled off a fairly big shocker in landing Texas QB Andrew Luck last year and two QBs in 2007 (both of whom initially redshirted). So the cupboard is stocked but it is stocked with young talent. If he isn't scare of the competition at UM, I would assume he wouldn't be at Stanford either...and Harbaugh has proven he can recruit QBs.

Per Tate, Stanford has been eliminated.

Logic says you can kick four to five more from that list of eight from the list.

Rivals.com Football Recruiting - Commitment thoughts hound Forcier (Free Rivals)

Josh Helmholdt
Recruiting Analyst
San Diego (Calif.) Scripps Ranch's Tate Forcier is one of just four quarterbacks ranked in the Rivals250 not to have made his college selection yet, but the four-star prospect is pondering whether to join the ranks of the committed.
"It's one of those things where you want to get it over with, but you don't want to rush it and make a mistake," Forcier said. "I have people messaging me on MySpace and Facebook – 100 messages a day. Everybody is asking me what I am going to do with it.
