PSU seems to be in good shape with this kid. He has said he hopes Pryor goes to PSU and that it would not affect his outlook on attending Penn State.
He needs to get an offer and fast.

Agreed, he needs to get an offer immediately. He seems like another perfect recruit to try and get locked up prior to the '08 season beginning. He actually sounds like a genuine fan of Penn State football...and actually follows the team. Maybe the staff will wake up and try and lock down some of these kids early [ie Forcier, Crawford, few in-state] and get something accomplished at the SC Nike camps. It doesn't get easier to get in on kids like Brandon Scott, Jack Lippert, Jaleel Clark, Gunn, DB from Permokia sp?, etc. when you wait until they've got a stack of offers. Specifically the in-state kids, I hate when they have offers from damn near everyone and then the in-state school strolls in late.
I don't like to be negative, but I'm weary every since the whole Michael Shaw talking out of his - - - about how 'Penn State is my dream school'.

Well offers seem to be going out fast at this point...any Penn State fans know if Malcolm Willis [Lackey; same H.S. in MD as J.B. Walton] has a written offer, or is it just a verbal? Like I said, hopefully Crawford has a WRITTEN offer on the way.

According to Scout (Alkire), Willis has a written offer.
I, too, hope Crawford gets an offer soon.

From IrishEyes...talks about last year's mess of a season (new coach, transfers, no senior leadership). Getting interest from Notre Dame, Penn State, Vanderbilt, Purdue, West Virginia, Marshall, Kentucky, Alabama and Ohio State and Wake seems to be close to offering. Talks about what he knows about ND.

I'm willing to bet if PSU offered, it goes to the top of the list without question. I have no idea why it hasn't offered yet. Versatile athlete who WANTS the offer ... has been a fan of PSU for years.

I'm thinking the staff has had difficulty getting in touch with his coaches, etc. They want to meet him face-to-face before they make the offer since they have little info to go off of.
UB - 99% he gets the offer at his Junior Day visit...and 75% he verbals within a week of said offer.
