It will be very interesting to see how this recruitment plays out.
There are some (small, but a few) that prefer Newsome to Pryor.
Hopefully, PSU will be in this one to the very end. Kid seems to have some MRob-like qualities about him.

With the big charade TP has pulled, I prefer Newsome already. I doubt he becomes a drama queen. He is going to be hard to take away from VPI. Hopefully the Hokies stay on Boyd and allow us to take Newsome.

That's the first time I've ever seen a top prospect say he wants to hear from USF; even more remarkable considering that Newsome ain't even from Florida.
Go Bulls!

From the Michigan site. Newsome says that he and his family will be at Michigan for their Spring Game. Academics, style of play, and depth chart will all be important factors.

The only saving grace is if he chooses Michigan, which I suspect he will soon, then that helps us with Forcier - hopefully.

That's been my thought process for about a month. Newsome will be so good in that O it's hard for me to want him to go there, but you have to think that puts us in the drivers seat for Forcier.

"I'm open," Kevin Newsome said. "I'm still traveling and trying to see as many schools as I can. I'd like to commit in August, but it's not certain. I'd just like to be as focused as possible to win games during the season and I don't want recruiting to be a distraction." Newsome expects a difficult task in narrowing his favorites.
