The Northern Region first team selection in 2008 earned his spot by catching 44 passes for 1,130 (25.6 yds/catch) and 12 touchdowns as he totaled over 100 yards receiving in seven of the Atoms ten games. In Annandale's 28-7 victory over South County which clinched the Patriot District championship and a playoff spot for the Atoms, Robinson hauled in three catches for 102 yards and two touchdowns. With impressive size, hands and athleticism (Robinson is a standout basketball player as well), there's little doubt that two more years of development will make him an impact player early on the college scene.

By Brian Mohr. WVU offered Melvin first a few months ago....may visit. Looking to visit VT this season, NC State game probable, and says all of the ACC along with LSU is interested....likes VT and everyone is telling him to check VT out to see if he likes it....thinks he could make an impact there too. Visited PSU twice and got to talk some with his cousin, freshman PSU CB Stephon Morris, says the visits were great and the atmosphere was crazy. Melvin is looking for a good education (Business Management) and playing time as a freshman.
