Raw, athletic prospect who is currently in his home country of Great Britain. Has only been playing organized football (American-style) for 2 years.
Came away very impressed after his visit to Penn State. Will not resume his recruiting until he returns from Great Britain in August.

Crawford talks about his recent offers from Iowa and BC, as well as what he likes from some of the other schools who have offered.

This dude has really exploded with the offers in recent weeks. Believe he has only visited two schools PSU and Rutgers (maybe). Making a decision in August and says he will visit some schools between now and then. I like where PSU stands with this guy. Line him up at TE with Quarless and there lies a major problem for opposing defenses. JMO

If we are going to land Wedderburn , don't see how we can take two TE's with the limited schollies available. I believe he would be projected at DE if he were to come to PSU...JMO.

Don't get me wrong ... Crawford can be an amazing DE with the help of LJ. I just made mention that this kid could be an absolute monster as a TE. He could play either position.
I have no idea why Wedderburn is holding out this long. It's not like he has visited anyother schools.

I'm curious to know if he plays basketball. If so, he would have the skill set to play TE.
I bet Wedderburn is waiting to commit on an official...maybe a way to influence others to do the same?

I think I heard Wedderburn might be on campus the end of July - like the same weekend Mr. Shaw is on campus, along with Mr. Pannell, and a few others. We shall see. Wouldn't be shocked to see Mr. Beachum there as well, but who knows ... he said the next time he was going to PSU was for the ND game. I have a good feeling he shows up before.
BTW - there was an update on Crawford ... he does play hoops!

All I know is that there is not one thing that Wedderburn hasn't seen at PSU, so I would agree with the fact that he may be trying to help with a few recruits - not really sure. If he does visit at the end of July it would be to walk around with the other recruits and 'ohhh' and 'ahhh' - then probably commit just like that. I just can't see him going anywhere else.

Pitt has offered. Pitt, PSU, Rutgers, and UNC (no offer) lead. Still some interest in Iowa and Arizona but he wants to stay close to home. Crawford will take some visits soon, and wants to decide in August.

I know the British have a wierd sense of humor, but this kid is saying he likes to watch Pitt play?
Maybe it will make more sense if I watch Holy Grail again...

I swear, everytime he talks about liking to watch the team and its attacking defense, I think he confuses the Pitt Panthers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

For my sanity I have to believe that is the case; can't blame him they play in the same damn stadium.
